Note that this field is also in the\u00a0<em class=\"ph i\">form<\/em>\u00a0of an email address, but it does not have to be the same as your email address, and in fact, it\u2019s usually better if they aren\u2019t the same. Your username is your login and your identity on\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><span class=\"ph filepath\">developer.salesforce.com<\/span><\/strong><\/span>, so you\u2019re often better served by choosing a username such <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">amit.sfdc<span class=\"ph filepath\">@salesforce.com<\/span><\/span><\/em>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li\">Select the checkbox for the\u00a0<span class=\"keyword parmname\">Master Subscription Agreement<\/span>\u00a0and then click\u00a0<strong class=\"ph uicontrol\">Submit Registration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li\">In a moment you\u2019ll receive an email with a <strong>login<\/strong> link. Click the <strong>link<\/strong> and change your password.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><strong>Note: &#8211;<\/strong> If ask for Security Question then write down is somewhere else so that you can easily use in future.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"helpHead2 heading\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"title_define_domain\" class=\"ph\">Define a Custom Salesforce Domain Name<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A custom domain name helps you enhance access security and better manage login and authentication for your organization. If your custom domain is\u00a0<strong><kbd class=\"ph userinput\">sfdcpanther<\/kbd><\/strong>, then your login URL would be\u00a0<strong><span class=\"ph filepath\">https:\/\/<kbd class=\"ph userinput\">sfdcpanther<\/kbd>.lightning.force.com<\/span><\/strong>. For more information, see\u00a0<a class=\"xref\" title=\"Add a subdomain to your Salesforce org URL with the My Domain Salesforce feature. Having a subdomain lets you highlight your brand and makes your org more secure. A subdomain is convenient and allows you to personalize your login page.\" href=\"https:\/\/help.salesforce.com\/apex\/HTViewHelpDoc?id=domain_name_overview.htm&amp;language=en_US\"><span id=\"d348113e135-d348220e9\" class=\"ph\">My Domain<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in the Salesforce Help.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Please select a domain which defines your business because once it created cannot be changed. You will need to raise a case with Salesforce Support to change the same.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Go to <strong>Setup -&gt; Company Setting -&gt; My Domain -&gt;\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Enter the subdomain name you want to use<\/li>\n<li class=\"li step\"><span class=\"ph cmd\">Click\u00a0<strong class=\"ph uicontrol\">Check Availability<\/strong>. If your name is already taken, choose a different one.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li step\"><span class=\"ph cmd\">Click\u00a0<strong class=\"ph uicontrol\">Register Domain<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>You receive an email when your domain name is ready for testing. It can take a few minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong class=\"ph b\">Test your domain.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li class=\"li\">In the Salesforce email, click the link to log in to your new subdomain. Or you can return to My Domain from Setup: Enter\u00a0<kbd class=\"ph userinput\">My Domain<\/kbd>\u00a0in the Quick Find box, then select\u00a0<strong class=\"ph uicontrol\">My Domain<\/strong>.
