The demand for Salesforce Admins is booming due to the essential role they play in supporting businesses in accomplishing their goals. To successfully clear the Salesforce Admin certification exam, a thorough understanding of how to prepare for the test is mandatory.

But, just because you think that it’s the right time to bounce in, you cannot do that without any prior preparation.

Do you want to know the key aspects you need to know before embarking on the Salesforce Admin exam?

Identify Your Niche

To embark on any profession, the first step you need to take is to set a goal and work towards it. If you wish to get into Salesforce, start scrutinizing the certificates that you are going to achieve. Salesforce Certifications are industry-recognized standards, not just qualifications, that verify a person’s ability in a specific Salesforce field.

There are certifications available for both IT and non-IT professionals that are designed to meet their demands or expectations. Salesforce offers certifications for eight different types of profiles, and there are 30+ certifications in Salesforce. Identify your niche and start working for it.

Start Preparing for the Exam

Preparation is the key to success. Once you decide on your niche, start working towards it. For example, Salesforce Administrators doesn’t actually require much technical knowledge and can be taken by anybody with a genuine interest in this platform. On the other hand, technical skills and some prior coding experience are required for development roles.

Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned veteran trying to brush up on your skills, it’s critical to find effective and reliable ways to learn Salesforce. Many people’s biggest issue is that so many Salesforce training options are available that they don’t know where to begin.

Attempt Practice Exams

It’s actually the best way to learn and prepare for any kind of exam. Once you get the idea or pattern of the exam, you know where to focus on. And that way, you can make your learning effective.

Always be careful not to go behind question dumps; instead, work on the questions carefully curated by genuine sources.

Try Mock Tests

Try to attempt mock tests that mirror the actual test to make sure that you have prepared well for the Salesforce certification exam.  According to various studies, attempting mock tests is one of the most successful preparation approaches for any certification exam.

Testing your knowledge and ability to recall information, identify topics that require attention, and handle pressure under exam conditions is an effective way to ensure oneself that it’s time to register for the exam.

Schedule the Exam

Webassessor by Kryterion, Inc., is used to track and schedule all the Salesforce tests. To access examinations, reminders, and results, you must first register. After you’ve created an account, go to the “Register For An Exam” link on the site to see a list of the available examinations.

Choose the exam from the drop-down list. The page contains the titles of various certification examinations, as well as a brief description of who the exam is for, pre-requisites, and any further information that may be obtained on an external page within Trailhead.

Pay Online

The last step is to pay the appropriate fee. Keep your credit or debit cards handy in this situation. Once you pay for your exam, you have officially enrolled for the Salesforce Certification exam.

Each exam has two alternatives for taking it: onsite or online. The majority of the examinations are $200 to schedule, but there are exceptions. When you’ve decided how you’ll take the exam, the options provide you with a variety of locations and/or times to pick from.

Download Sentinel for Online Exam

Before taking the exam online, you will be prompted to install kryterion’s security software, Sentinel. Sentinel will perform a facial recognition scan and allow a proctor to oversee the exam via webcam. Each time you take an online exam, it aids in the verification of your identification.

To Sum Up

Fasttrack your career with Salesforce. Make sure that you plan everything ahead of time to avoid confusion at the last moment. Rely on the safest and genuine sources of information to increase your chances of successfully clearing the exam in the first go.
